Fiorentina winger Franck Ribery’s house in Florence was burgled last night, according to La Repubblica.

The French star returned with an ankle injury from the match against Parma and will be assessed by the medical staff at the Artemio Franchi today.

But La Repubblica reveals he returned to find his Florence home robbed last night. The local Carabinieri immediately rushed to the scene and the inventory is still being assessed for a precise estimate of the items stolen.

But the newspaper reveals the initial investigations revealed a large number of valuable items gone missing, including jewels and other precious objects.
