Nollywood actress Adejumoke Aderounmu has died.

Adejumoke Oreoluwa Aderounmu, a Nollywood actress best known for playing ‘Esther’ in the hit television series Jenifa’s Diary, has died.

Adeola Aderounmu, the actress’ brother, announced her death on Sunday via Instagram.

He also tweeted a poster describing burial procedures with the comment, “You are in a better place now, my sister ”

Aderounmu began her professional acting career in the 2008 movie “Arugba,” which was produced by Tunde Kelani & featured Bukky Wright, Bukola Awoyemi, and Segun Adefila.

She has also worked on movies such as Alakada 2 and Wings of My Dreams, among others.

Aderounmu Adejumoke was also a presenter and once hosted her show, “The Lounge with Jumoke.”

However, according to social media reports, a funeral service was held for her at Owu Baptist Church in Totoro, the region of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
