‘I’m first video vixen in Nigeria’ – Beverly Osu.
By: Mary Owolabi
Beverly Osu, a Nollywood actress, asserts that she was the first person to be called a “video vixen” in Nigeria.
When Beverly acquired the moniker “video vixen,” many objected to it, according to Beverly, who appeared in the music video for Ice Prince’s 2011 smash song, “Oleku.”
Thespian Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, alias Taymesan, who hosts the podcast Tea with Tay, revealed this in the most recent episode.
I was literally the first person to call myself a video vixen [in Nigeria], she claimed. Yes, with pride.
Despite the criticism, I insisted, “Yeah, I’m a video vixen.” They said, “Video vixens are…” You avoid saying that. Say you work as a model. ‘No, I’m a model, but I’m also a video vixen,’ I responded.
