University awards scholarships to top graduates

Five first-class graduates of Achievers University in Owo, Ondo State, have been offered scholarships up to the Ph.D. level, according to the university’s administration.

According to the university, the recipients will take advantage of the scholarships for their Master’s and Ph.D. programs in medical laboratory sciences.

Dr. Bode Ayorinde, the university’s provost, made the statement at the event welcoming the institution’s certified MLS graduates to the 2022–2023 academic year.

Five of the 81 graduates of MLS who were inducted took first place at the event, which was hosted on the institution’s campus.

Ayorinde declared, “We will provide scholarships to the five first-class graduates for their master’s and doctoral degrees in MLS at this university.

Mr. Tosan Erahbor, the Registrar of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Council of Nigeria, urged the new members to learn how to collaborate with other medical staff members in hospitals to save patients’ lives in his remarks.
