The English FA will investigate Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel following Sunday’s post-match comments about referee Anthony Taylor.

Harry Kane’s equalizer six minutes into stoppage time gave Tottenham a thrilling 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, and Tuchel was furious.

The German advocated against Taylor officiating Chelsea games going forward.

I can promise you that everyone in our dressing room believes that, he said.

In the lead-up to Spurs’ first equalizer, Rodrigo Bentancur collided with fellow midfielder Kai Havertz, and the Blues were incensed that Taylor did not punish him.

Following the ensuing brawl, the two managers squared up, and Tuchel and Antonio Conte both received yellow cards as a result.

But both individuals got into another altercation at full-time and were dismissed because of their still-high blood pressure.

The red cards do not automatically result in a ban, therefore both are virtually certainly going to be in the dugout for the games next weekend.

Before taking any action, the FA will watch the incident’s video footage and the referee’s game report. Before it ultimately goes to a commission, both managers have the opportunity to respond.
