Nominations for the BET Awards 2020, which celebrates excellence in music and acting excellence, were recently revealed.

According to billboard.com, Canadian rapper, Drake, returns to the top spot securing six nominations, with Roddy Ricch and Megan Thee Stallion following with five.

Representing Nigeria on the nominees’ list this year are Burna Boy and Rema, who were nominated for the Best International Act and Viewers’ Choice Best New International Act respectively.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, BET had announced on May 20 that it would move forward with airing the BET Awards on June 28.
