PDP rejects Oshiomhole, claiming Ighodalo is the best governor candidate.

The Peoples Democratic Party of Edo State has chastised ex-governor Adams Oshiomhole, who backs opposition All Progressives Congress nominee Senator Monday Okphebholo. Oshiomhole accused the Obaseki administration and Ighodalo of scheming to influence the election and urged APC members and supporters to remain cautious. He also warned about potential dangers to peaceful conduct in the September 21 governorship election.

 

The Asue/Ogie Campaign Management Council has accused Governor Godwin Obaseki of manipulating the electoral process and depriving voters of voting opportunities. They have also accused Obaseki of mismanaging Edo resources and promised to make Edo Specialist Hospital open to all people. However, Olu Martin, Deputy Director General for Media and Publicity, attacked Obaseki’s reputation for deception and corruption.

 

Orobosa Omo-ojo, Director of Media and Publicity for the APC Edo Governorship Campaign Council, has published a book titled ‘Breach of Trust’ that details Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s ruthless rule, emphasizing his treachery and political trickery while also showcasing his successes.

 

“Obaseki places importance on education and technology with significant improvements in literacy and numeracy skills while his economic and social benefits include the development of retail stores and the implementation of a 30-year development plan for the state.”The press should investigate and challenge the abilities of the APC candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, who is notorious for his evasiveness.

 

“The candidates should be made to tell us what they have for Edo people in a debate so that candidate can be held responsible based on their promises.”
