Pastor Adeboye: “The Olaoye kingship was predestined by God.”

By; Mary Owolabi

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, spoke at the Beulah Baptist Conference in Ogbomoso. During an interdenominational thanksgiving service for the new Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, Adeboye declared that Olaoye was born to be a king.

He said he believed Olaoye was destined to become a king even before he was born.

According to Adeboye, when Olaoye came to inform him of his destiny to become king, he advised him to pray and seek God’s guidance. After a while, Olaoye returned and told Adeboye that God had spoken to him. Adeboye then encouraged Olaoye to accept his destiny as it was God’s plan for him.

Adeboye also advised the new monarch to promote peace and unity among his subjects. He further stated that he could not deny God’s plan for Olaoye, and he was glad to see his destiny come to fruition.

The monarch made a statement where he mentioned that Adeboye is his spiritual father. He promised to treat everyone fairly and justly.

“I will be a king to not only the Christians, Muslims, and traditional rulers but to every individual residing in this land,” he declared.

“This is my forte, and I have faith that God will bestow upon me the grace to lead his people. I urge everyone in this land to pray for me so that I may lead a righteous life.”
