Olivier Giroud replaces injured Benzema in French national squad

AC Milan striker Giroud has now been selected, as a replacement for the injured Karim Benzema

after being previously left out of the squad.

The Real Madrid forward has been in rich vein of form throughout the club competitions, scoring 32 goals along with 13 assists. Unfortunately, Benzema got himself injured during the match against Mallorca, in which he scored another brace.

On the other side of the continent, Giroud has also been performing quite well for AC Milan. After Benzema’s injury, Giroud has now finally found a way to get back into the national team.
