Nigerian actor Yusuf Olorungbede has died.

Yusuf Olorungbede, a Yoruba Nollywood actor, has reportedly died.

His death was announced by some of his Yoruba film business colleagues.

 

Foluke Daramola, a Nollywood actress, posted on her verified Instagram account that Yusuf Olorungbede had passed away. We submit to God’s will. “Thank you, everyone!”

Another actor, Oladimeji Peter, wrote on Facebook, “It is sad to hear you are gone.

 

“As an actor, you gave me courage. You are the first director to bring me to a movie location and pay me. Not only that but my meals and personal accommodations were taken care of without worry. How will I write up my stories in this profession and slide your name EGBON????Ko possible, I met many people and learned a lot from you. Good night, Boss man Yusuf Olorungbede.”

 

Olorungbede had been ailing for some time and was put on life support a few days before he died.
