Following a thorough inspection, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has Monday, given certified the NYSC Anambra Permanent Orientation Camp Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Awka south Local Government Area of Anambra State, fit for the hosting of Orientation Course.
NCDC State focal person on Infection, Prevention and Control, Dr. Kenneth Nwokolo gave the approval, having toured the camp to ascertain the facility’s level of readiness and compliance to COVID-19 protocols ahead of the November 10 orientation camp.
Nwokolo during the visit inspected various facilities at the Orientation camp including strategically installed taps, Wash hand basins, Toilets, hostel, Multi-purpose hall and Clinic expressed satisfaction with what he saw and declared it fit for hosting the forthcoming the orientation programme.
The NYSC Coordinator and team leader in the State, Mr. Kehinde Aremu assured the NCDC boss that everything would be done to ensure the safety of corps members were guaranteed.
