Muslims should help the needy during Ramadan – Peller.

 By; Mary Owolabi

Honorable Shina Abiola Peller, a member of the House of Representatives at the ninth Assembly, has urged Muslim brothers and sisters both in the country and abroad to show acts of kindness to fellow Muslims who are in dire need during this Ramadan period. Honorable Peller made this appeal in his goodwill messages to Muslims on the commencement of the 2024 (1445 AH) Ramadan fast.

The former federal lawmaker reminded Muslims that every month of Ramadan provides a unique opportunity to purify one’s body and soul. He also encouraged them to use the momentum of the holy month to pray for Nigeria and its leaders. Honorable Peller emphasized the need to support the country’s leaders with prayers so that they can lead the country in the right direction.

In his statement, the Ayedero of Yorubaland and former federal lawmaker, Peller, sends his best wishes to fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, both at home and in the diaspora, as they begin fasting for the holy month of Ramadan in 2024 (1445 AH).

He highlights that Ramadan is a time to purify the mind, body, and soul, and to help those in need. Peller urges everyone to use this opportunity to support the less privileged, especially considering the economic hardships currently faced by the nation.

In addition, he calls on all Muslims to pray for Nigeria and its leaders during this sacred month. He hopes that their prayers will purify the souls of their leaders and guide them to make decisions that will lead Nigeria towards a better future.

Peller concludes by wishing everyone a blessed Ramadan and asking that God strengthens them in every way and accepts their good deeds as acts of Ibadah.

Ramadan Mubarak.
