Luis Suarez revealed in a video message that a ‘pre-agreement’ is in place to return to Nacional in his native Uruguay.

Luis Suarez, a former attacker for Liverpool, has revealed a startling deal to rejoin his original professional team.
Since 2014, the Uruguayan superstar has been playing in La Liga, spending two seasons with Atletico Madrid after a lengthy tenure with Barcelona.
He will now begin a new chapter with Nacional in his own country, a team he first joined at the age of just 14.
The 35-year-old Suarez revealed in a video message that was just broadcast on Twitter that “I’ve now achieved a pre-agreement in order to join Nacional, it was difficult for me to say no to this opportunity.” I’m hoping that the last issues can be settled quickly so that the transaction may go through formally.
Suarez, who enjoyed a dazzling three-and-a-half-year run at Anfield, was recently linked with a move back to the Premier League as well as a switch to Wayne Rooney’s MLS team D.C. United.
But tonight’s announcement follows a concerted social media effort by the team’s supporters in Montevideo, with a great deal of supporter activity under the hashtag #SuarezANacional during the past week or two.
Many people in Suarez’s country gave the campaign substantial support, and the term was tweeted millions of times.
