Oyo State Deputy Governor, Engr. Remi Olaniyan has revealed that he can’t decide where the proposed mini campus of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology will be located.
Olaniyan, who confirmed that the proposed satellite campus will be located in Okeogun region of the state, explained that stakeholders of various towns in the region have approached him for the satellite campus.
However, he noted that irrespective of where town is located, it will be of immense benefit to the entire region.
The deputy governor, who spoke as a guest speaker at the 18th Anniversary of Okeho news, also revealed that he has initiated plan for an rehabilitation of some roads including Okeho- Igana- Ayegun road, Saki- ilesa Bariba road and another one in Iseyin.
He urged youths in the region to take advantage of the agricultural policy of the state government to involve in farming and stop searching for Job.
”Fertile land is our own mineral resources in Oke Ogun, let us make use of the land and be the basket food of the state,”he added.
