The Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde, In his bid to find lasting solutions to the insecurity afflicting the people of Ibarapaland, together with the new commissioner of police, Mrs. Ngozi Onadeko yesterday passed the night in Igbo-Ora, headquarters of Ibarapa Central local government.

 

Makinde’s visit, came after many people had criticized him for not visiting the zone where killer Fulani bandits have been killing and kidnapping the people.

This newspaper recalled how Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, had, after a 7-day ultimatum, visited Igangan to chase our killer Fulani bandits.

Makinde, who arrived Ibarapaland yesterday afternoon, and met political appointees from the zone immediately in Igbo-Ora, is billed to visit Igangan Monday morning.
