[ICYMI] Paternity saga: Wife requests sons’ DNA tests from football player Olanrewaju.

Ezinne Kayode, a Nigerian lady, is suing her husband Olarenwaju Kayode for reportedly having negative DNA results for their three sons, following Kayode’s viral assertion regarding their paternity.

She supported her position with a letter from her legal lawyers dated May 24, 2024, headlined ‘Re: Dissemination of false charges involving claimed DNA test results of the three children of marriage’ and addressed to Kayode at 14, Tulip Road, Peacock Beach Estate, Lekki, Lagos.

 

 The letter said in part, “It has come to our client’s knowledge that since May 24, 2024, numerous blogs and internet platforms have been propagating lurid reports saying that the results of DNA test show that none of the three children born during your marriage to our client belong to you.

 

“This scandalous and defamatory narrative has circulated quickly, causing great shame for our client and his children. Our client believes that you manufactured and carefully planted these unsubstantiated, humiliating charges in many media sources with the malevolent intent of destroying her character and causing irreparable harm to innocent children.

 

The alleged report leaked to the media accused Ezinne of fraud, cheating on him with Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, taking his two Mercedes SUVs to fund the pastor’s lifestyle, and kidnapping their three sons.

 

Ezinne extensively refuted the charges in a following Instagram post, condemning the supposed DNA test findings and requesting that Kayode make them public and specify the hospital where they were conducted.

 

She said, “Honestly, I am so tired of this man’s crap, and it needs to end now. I knew he wasn’t mentally stable when he drew a knife on me a few months ago, but destroying the lives of innocent children is simply too much. “Kayode, I didn’t expect you to go that low.”I’ve kept silent about all of the rumors you’ve been spreading because they’re unfounded, childish, and false. But are you including innocent children? No, now I must talk.

 

“I have never sold any of my homes or vehicles and given the earnings to a priest, bishop, or imam in this world. In truth, all of the rumors that Kayode, a mentally unstable young guy, is spreading online are incorrect. 

 

Ezinne, a woman, has been in a terrible marriage for many years, enduring abuse and persecution. She prays for her husband’s release and encourages other women to escape violent marriages, hoping for healing and assistance from God.

 

Olarenwaju Ayobami Kayode, a strong queen on Instagram, has petitioned DSS to provide the DNA results of her children who were detained in DSS custody, claiming that the imprisonment has traumatized them.
