For the first time, that special feature allowed fans to apply for up to two matches on the same day at the start of the competition.
Qataris continued to show their support for the World Cup in the most recent sales session, with fans from Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the United States among the top applicants.
