Fanny Amun, a former Secretary-General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has stated that the incumbent NFF President, Amaju Pinnick’s Third Term Agenda will not see the light of day.
Pinnick has not done enough in his first two terms in office, according to the 1993 U17 FIFA World Cup Winner from Japan.
“Amaju Pinnick’s Third Term Agenda is dead on arrival.” He started.
“He’s fortunate to be the first NFF President to serve a second term, but has he done enough to earn a third?” He posed the question rhetorically.
“Those promoting the agenda, I feel, are doing so for their gain.” He concluded.
In eight years, Amaju Pinnick’s NFF won three trophies (the U17 World Cup and two AWCON titles), while his predecessor, Aminu Maigari, won 13 trophies (including the AFCON title) in four years.
The former NFF General Secretary led the Kanu Nwankwo-led U17 Nigeria national team to triumph in Japan, where they defeated Ghana in the final to win the global championship.
