Following directive by the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has suspended about twelve directors and top staffs.
The action was learnt to be related to the ongoing investigation of the suspended EFCC boss, Mr. Ibrahim Magu.
On Tuesday night, the notice of suspension was communicated to the Acting Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Mohammed Umar.
However, tension engulfed in the commission as some of the suspended individuals were not directly involved in Magu’s administration.
