Looking back to what history has described us as a people, we are on earth to create from the creativity bestowed on us by the creator, who created us as creatures to recreate in the creativity of our creation. As creatives created by the creator, we are expected to think within, outside, and without the box of our imagination. These are created not to be burdens on one another but to compliment the creative efforts of each other. As a people that live in this world, we have been given all the possible infrastructures by the creator of man to not fail. We are spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically endowed to live in this world with the possibility that our actions and inactions could lead us on the right path or astray.
Our nation is endowed with people from diverse regions, religions, and regents with the capacity to make our country the world’s one-stop centre, yet, unfortunately, we have people who are visionless as leaders. We live in a world where there is plenty, but our creativity is ignored and our inner radiance is obscured. We are blessed with beautiful nature, yet we refuse to nurture it. We are gracefully endowed with wonderful resources, yet we allow them to rot. We are enriched with creativity, yet we cripple their minds.
We are blessed with awesome things that we make awkward with our own hands. We have now adopted innovation for inventions. We have developed the habit of consistent consumption as opposed to production. We are dying before our very eyes with rumours. We have lost touch with creativity in everything we do and we have adopted civilization, which has taken away our sense of origin. The hot noodles are reviving, but without the ingredients, they will be tasteless. This is the case of a nation like ours, where creativity, which is an ingredient in nation-building and economic development, has consistently been treated as inconsequential at all times.
Until we have collectively decided to come together as people to creatively factor in the future for all. It will be difficult to grow and glow among the rest of the world. The world is waiting for us, yet we have not seen reasons to be awake. Our community is expecting us to lead, yet we are suffering from complexes. We have crippled our minds and bodies to think creatively in our diversity. It can’t work. Our creativity is enough to build our economy, but we must be ready to allow our creativity to take a great lead in the decision making of this nation. Note: Every profession has a way of being discovered, developed, and deployed creatively to bring out the beauty of our cultures.
Let’s come together to grow together for a better life for the generation to come.
