Karim Benzema and Luka Modric joined Carlo Ancelotti in speaking to the media prior to Real Madrid’s UEFA Super Cup encounter against Eintracht Frankfurt.

When asked if Real Madrid can win all six of the trophies they are vying for the UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, Supercopa de Espana, LaLiga Santander, Champions League, and Copa del Rey the coach mentioned this season’s first trophy.

We’ll give every competition our all, but winning all six will be challenging, very challenging, the coach retorted.

“However, I am optimistic since our team is stronger than it was last year.

“Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni are two new players that strengthen the team’s physical and technical makeup.

“The relationship between the veterans and the young people should also be even stronger than it was the previous year,”

The squad’s backup striker position presents a possible problem, but according to Ancelotti, nobody could take Benzema’s place.

No one can replace the finest striker in the world, so losing him is difficult, he stated.

“We will adjust if he becomes ill. However, we do have a lengthy list of forwards.

The head coach attempted to back out of his prior declaration that he would start the same 11 players that helped his team win the Champions League last year.

We are attending the UEFA Super Cup because of the Champions League champions, according to Ancelotti.

“We didn’t just win it with just 11 players, but I’m going to put the Champions League-winning squad.

Or, perhaps I’ll tweak a few things!

The two players also exchanged words, and Modric said that despite the World Cup being in the middle of the season, he isn’t approaching it any differently.

The Croatian remarked, “[The winter World Cup] doesn’t change anything.”

“I just want to train hard and be available, as usual. Age is irrelevant. It matters what you do on the field.

“The coach is aware of how I feel and that I perform better when I play,” I said.

As for Benzema, he too was questioned regarding the need for a backup.

He said, “I don’t know, the coach and the president are here too, so I’m not the one to answer that question.

Then, he was questioned about how it would feel to win his first championship as team captain.

The striker stated, “I’m really proud to be captain, but the team is still the most important to me.

I’ve stated it before: “The group prizes are more significant than the individual ones.”
