The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) ,due to unforeseen circumstances, has temporarily discontinued operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route.
This was announced on Tuesday morning.
Terrorists assaulted a Kaduna-bound train with 970 people on Monday night, according to Intel region.
They were bombed, and the train lines were decommissioned.
A large number of passengers were hurt.
The terrorists blew up the rail track, leading the 1000-car train to derail around Rijana, a community on the Kaduna rail corridor.
NRC, in a brief statement via its official Twitter page on Tuesday, said: “Dear passengers, due to unforeseen circumstances, Train operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route has been temporarily suspended.
“Further Communication would be given in due course.”
