The Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed twenty members of the Cross River State House of Assembly who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress.
Justice Taiwo Taiwo ruled on Monday that the MPs had to forfeit their seats because they had abandoned the political party that had brought them to prominence.
The ruling came after the PDP filed a lawsuit with the case number FHC/ABJ/CS/975/2021.
