Peace Airlines, Nigeria’s largest airline, has ceased operations at Kaduna International Airport, just few hours after Azman took similar caution.
This was revealed to the Daily Trust by a source, who attributed the development to the weekend gun attack near the airport.
On Saturday, gunmen killed a local guard belonging to the Nigerian Airspace Management Authority, according to the Daily Trust.
The military had engaged the bandits in a violent shootout, causing an Azman flight destined for Lagos to be delayed.
Stanley Olisa, a spokesman for Air Peace, confirmed the news to Daily Trust but declined to elaborate.
