The All Progressives Congress’ Bola Tinubu’s behavior in London’s Chatham House has been referred to as a “colossal shame” by the Atiku Support Organization.

ASO claimed that Tinubu’s behavior in assigning questions to his party members in the conference room was evidence that he lacked even the barest capacity to lead Nigeria.

Ayekooto had earlier reported that the former governor of Lagos had visited Chatham House on Monday to inform Nigerians living abroad about his candidacy for office in 2023.

When the moderator invited Tinubu to react to some of the questions, he said that he would delegate some of his entourage to do so.

He requested the Director of Strategic Communication of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Dele Aleke, to react to the query regarding oil theft and asked the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, to speak on how his (Tinubu-led government’s) response to insecurity.

“The fact that Bola Tinubu couldn’t provide answers to basic questions, especially on how to improve bilateral relations in the area of defense with the United Kingdom, but called on El-Rufai, Gbajagbiamila, Betta Edu, and co. to rescue him shows that Nigeria may be in for a major calamity ahead,” the support group stated in a statement dated Monday, December 6, 2022, and signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Dr. Victor Moses.

In fact, the APC’s entire program at the Chatham House was a show of shame and an embarrassment to Nigeria.

“All Nigerians now understand why Tinubu avoided the AriseTVTownHall debate. His mental capabilities have completely degraded, and he is unable to engage in a one-on-one discussion or argument regarding his intentions for Nigeria. The continuation of the APC administration will be disastrous for Nigeria.

We want to urge Nigerians not to allow the APC to deceive or mislead them in order to bring disaster on the country as the 2023 election approaches. Under President Muhammadu Buhari, we’ve had enough, it continued.

The organization also urged voters to back and support Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, who they described as a seasoned administrator, accomplished businessman, compassionate philanthropist, and experienced politician.
