Ojo Jonathan, a 17-year-old school certificate holder, is the youngest Nigerian to be certified as a Chattered accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria.

Solomon, who was born in 2005, was able to achieve his goal after enrolling at Triumph Dynamic Professionals Training Hub in Ibadan in May 2019.

Mr Ayuba Qadr FCA, the Centre’s CEO, told Media on Thursday how he was brought to Triumph Dynamic Professionals Training Hub in May 2019 appearing so small and frail.

“Many people doubted his capacity to handle with the rigours of ICAN, but his father had such faith in him that all of my attempts to persuade him not to register fell on deaf ears,” stated the CEO.

Jonathan took the ATS 1 exam in September 2019 and passed all four papers, according to him. Before COVID-19 shutdown, he went to ATS 2 and took the exam in March 2020.

Jonathan cleared all four papers when the results were announced, passing ATS 3 in September 2020 Diet and becoming an AAT at the age of 16.
