Oyo state government has debunked allegations that it had stored away COVID-19 palliatives meant for the people of the state in a private warehouse in Ibadan for selfish reasons

The government cleared the air in a press briefing held at the state secretariat following an invasion of a private warehouse by supposed protesters of #END SARS and carted away some palliatives.

The commissioner for local government and chieftaincy matters, who doubles as chairman of COVID-19 palliatives distribution in the state, Chief Bayo Lawal explained that the private warehouse in Lagelu local government is owned by a vendor working with CACOVID and not of the Oyo state government.
