A number of university students, Tuesday took to the streets of Ilorin, Kwara State capital, to stage a peaceful protest, showing their dissatisfaction over the continued closure of universities occasioned by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.
The youth, who carried placards sent forth messages such as “#ENDASUU strike” and “Reform all sectors,” marched on roads in Ilorin.
While speaking with reporters in front of the Government House, Ilorin, the Chairman, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Salami Wasiu Onidigbe, said: “We want the Federal Government to comply with the ASUU demands.
