Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde while commissioning an isolation center in Saki which was converted to specialist hospital in Saki area of Oyo State has promised to revoke Saki dual lane contact and re award to another contractor in 4weeks time.
The okere of Saki Oba Khalid Olabisi registered his displeasure about the slow pace working on the said road by the contractor and made a request to the governor to revoke the contract from them and are award it to another contractor that will work on it and deliver it within a shortest period of time.
While reacting on the kabiesi request, The governor said, he is not happy with the rate at which the dual road is being carried out by the contractor contracted by the previous administration.
He furthered that, it is high time he took a pragmatic step in revoking the contract and contract another contractor who will expedite action in delivering the project in due time, which means he has granted the wish of Oba Khalid Olabisi, the okere of Saki land.
