Hushpuppi, also known as Abbas Ramoni, who is allegedly involved in online fraud and is currently facing trial in the United States, no longer has a verified Instagram account.

According to reports, Hushpuppi was detained in Dubai in June 2020 for allegedly defrauding numerous victims, including American citizens. This arrest was made by a joint team of Dubai Police and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation.

After being extradited, Hushpuppi was accused with many counts of hacking, impersonation, bank fraud, and identity theft.

The alleged online fraudster currently has around 2.8 million followers on his @hushpuppi account, 827 following, and 540 posts depicting his lavish lifestyle.

Hushpuppi was detained and put on trial, but Instagram still allowed him to post videos and pictures as long as he did not represent any perilous entities or people.

The social networking site, however, appears to have reconsidered its choice to keep Hushpuppi’s account active.

On Sunday, October 30, 2022, sources checked to see if Hushpuppi’s account was still active. The search results show that his account has been deactivated.
