The Purposeful Leadership for Empowerment and Youth Development Association (PLEYDA) staged a Blood Donation Drive in commemoration of International Youth Day on 12th August, 2022.
The Blood Drive Donation which was held in collaboration with the Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service had a notable amount of youths who voluntarily donated blood at Isolo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State on Saturday, 13th of August, 2022.
Ambassador Ajibola Badrudeen, the President of PLEYDA, stated that the drive was one of the best ways to celebrate the youths as well as impacting kindness in them.
His words:”It is high time youths of today got introduced to kind acts, as a way of planting goodness in them, in order to have a peaceful and prosperous community”.
The Youth based Association’s Vice President (Social), Ambassador Kiyomi Aishah said a lot of more beneficial social events are in queue, as PLEYDA is keen in impacting the community positively.
She therefore appreciated members and well wishers who came out enmasse for this year celebration of International Youth Day as they participated massively in the blood donation.
