Liverpool will play twice in the final week of the Premier League season after the rearranged fixtures were announced.

Jurgen Klopp’s quadruple-chasing side will now travel to Southampton on 17 May, three days after their FA Cup final against Chelsea.

On May 22, they play Wolves at Anfield to finish the league season.

On the 15th of May, title rivals and leaders Manchester City meet West Ham at the London Stadium before completing at home against Aston Villa on the 22nd.

City will play Wolves away on May 11 in a rescheduled match from April, giving them three league games in seven days.

Liverpool’s match against Southampton was rescheduled after they qualified for the FA Cup final on May 14 at Wembley.

With five games remaining in the Premier League, the Carabao Cup winners are only one point behind City.

Both teams are still in contention for the Champions League title, which will be decided after the Premier League season ends on May 28.
