The All Progressive Congress (APCfactional )’s Oyo state on Friday chose Abu Gbadamosi as their new chairman.

The Abuja, loyal groups had already sworn in Isaac Omodewu.

The Oyo state groups have reacted angrily to this event, claiming that he was foisted on them and that he was not the leader they chose.

In an interview with the BBC, Isaac Omodewu had already expressed his sympathies for the unhappy APC members, calling Abu Gbadamosi a father and someone he looked up to in politics.

However, according to Inside Oyo, Alhaji Abu Gbadamosi has been sworn in as the party’s parallel chairman.

Trans Wonderland Plc, also known as Amusement Park, in Bodija, Ibadan, hosted the swearing-in ceremony.

This comes a day before the party’s conference in Abuja.
