Oyo State Governorship aspirant, Akim Yusuf popularly known as “The New Agenda”, on Wednesday, expressed his heartfelt condolence to the Alao-Akala family, the Government, the people of Ogbomosho and Oyo State over the death of Otunba Alao-Akala, who aged 71.
He stated that the news to have caused him shock, while he prayed that the good Lord will grant the deceased eternal rest.
According to his message, he wrote, ” I received with a very heavy heart, the news of the sudden passage of His Excellency Otunba (Dr.) Christopher Adebayo Alao-AKala, former Governor of Oyo State.
“While praying that the good Lord will grant his soul eternal rest, I send my condolences to the Alao-Akala family, the Government and people of Oyo State and Ogbomoso indigenes at home and in the diaspora this coming so soon after the passage of His Imperial Majesty, The Soun of Ogbomoso (Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III) and Professor Tayibah Danmole.”
May we all be able to draw optimum strength in God Almighty as Oyo State mourns the demise of Colossuses within this short period.
