Zinedine Zidane is said to be open to any managerial job offer, according to his assistant David Bettoni.

Zidane has been out of work since he was sacked by Real Madrid at the end of last season and he is currently taking a year’s sabbatical out of the game.

The France legend was heavily linked with succeeding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United manager, but instead Ralf Rangnick was hired in an interim role until the end of the current campaign.

Man Utd will then have to decide who take the manager’s job permanently, with Zidane naturally one of the leading candidates.

However, it has often been claimed that Zidane who does not speak English does not want to move to England for cultural reasons and instead would prefer to wait until after next year’s World Cup in order to succeed Didier Deschamps as France national team coach.

But Zidane’s assistant manager Bettoni says that his superior is not closing the door on any job.

“I haven’t really talked about his next destination. He said he was going to take a year’s sabbatical. I know Zizou very well and he doesn’t think like that. I know he’s with his family and when he’s ready he’ll listen to offers and we’ll see who wants to sign him,” Bettoni told Marca.

“I think he’s open to anything and he’ll decide if the club is right for him, if there’s something he doesn’t like and if it is competitive. There’re a lot of factors and we’ll see at the end of the season where he goes, if he is coaching.”

Zidane has also been heavily linked with the PSG job. Current coach Mauricio Pochettino has struggled to get the best out of his star-studded team and reportedly may leave at the end of the campaign.
