Some yet to be identified gunmen were on Tuesday evening, January 19 invaded the residence of the Caretaker Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon. Sanusi Musibau popularly called SHABA, shot his son, beat his wife and carted away a huge amount of money, valuable phones and jewellery among others.
Shaba in his interaction with one of our correspondent affirmed that the suspected gunmen invaded his residence at Lalonpe-Asolo area, in Ona Ara LG, Ibadan where they shot his son, beat the wife and carted away valuable items.
The Council Boss added that the son had been admitted at an undisclosed hospital where the medical attention is being given to him.
He said the identity of the suspected gunmen had not been ascertained as the time of filing the report.
Shaba appreciated the sympathizers who thronged his residence shortly after the occurrence of the sad incident, praying such an event will never be their portions.
