Thirty-six students in Isolo Local Council Development Area of Lagos States have emerged as finalist of the educational competition organised in commemoration of 2022 Osolo Day Celebration of the royal families in Isolo Kingdom.

As a means of emphasising on the significance of education, Spelling Bee and Quiz Competition for Junior Secondary students and Senior Secondary students respectively are being initiated into the celebration by Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Isolo Area Council, with mouth watering prizes awaiting winners at the final on 1st of November, 2022.

Hundreds of students participated in the preliminaries of the contests which were held on 29th of August, 2022 and 31st of August, 2022, while 26 finalists for Spelling Bee and 10 finalists for Quiz Competition emerged.

HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Agbabiaka (Osolo of Isolo), Olori Kamila Agbabiaka, Otunba Olasoju Adebayo (Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA) and other dignitaries in Isolo massively support the educational contest.

Companies and institutes like SOS Children’s Village and Temple Hill also showed their keen interest in the growth of the community as far as education is concerned, by sponsoring the contest.

Adekoya Abdur-Raheem, the Project Manager of the contest, showed his sincere appreciation towards the dignitaries and cooperate bodies that supported the initiative. He also called for more financial support from private individuals and cooperate bodies to support the unprecedented academic battle in Isolo LCDA.
