Nigeria received medical intervention materials from the United Nations Development Programme yesterday evening, at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.

The intervention packages includes , PPE and 50 A30 ventilators procured from the recently launched COVID-19, Basket funds for Nigeria were received by the Minister of state for Health and the Minister of Aviation in Abuja.

These equipment and materials are expected to boost the effectiveness and efficiency of medical responses to the ongoing pandemic ,especially in vulnerable and most affected locations in the country.

Edward Kallon,UN-Nigeria Resident Coordinator said Un-Nigeria has fulfilled its promise in supporting the Nigerian Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
