The United states President Donald Trump disclosed that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is alive, and he wished him well after days of speculation over Kim’s whereabouts following his absence at national events.

Trump said he does have an information about Kim’s health, that he can’t disclosed any further, but to wish him well.

He added that the media would probably hear about Kim in the nearest future.

Kim has since not made a public appearance after he presided over a Workers’ Party politburo meeting on April 11, and the next day state media reported him inspecting fighter jets at an air defense unit.

He was reported not to have shown up at celebrations for the birthday of his grandfather Kim Il Sung, the North’s founder ,April 15 — the most important day in the country’s political calendar.

Amid inconclusive reports that Kim was ill or might even be dead, a top security adviser to South Korean President Moon Jae-in said on Sunday that Kim was in fact alive and well.
