President Pierre of Burundi dies of heart failure

Government of Burundi has announced the death of its President, Pierre Nkurunziza as a result of heart failure.

The government disclosed this via its official twitter account , that the Late Excellency Pierre ,who died at the age of 55 suffered a cardiac arrest.

Officials said that he was admitted to hospital on Saturday after feeling unwell and his condition improved , however he had a cardiac arrest and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, official said.

The late President has ruled his country for fifteen years.
