President Muhammed Buhari is to address Nigerians later today ,at 8pm prompt.
Following a 28 days total lockdown directives from the President in major cities :-Lagos and Abuja, over the COVID-19 scare from March 29 ,which was extended from April 13 and elapses today.
Nigerians anticipate the president’s decision as to if the lockdown will relaxed or extended ,considering the rate of community spread of the COVID-19.
He is to make his decisions based on presented facts and his wisdom, Minister of Health Dr. Osagie Ehanire and Director-General of the NCDC, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu said.
Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President, (Media & Publicity) said the President’s address will be aired on state-owned media:- Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) .
