The Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) disclosed to have recovered another stolen heavy-duty truck in Jubili, Afijio Local Government Area of the State during its special monitoring and enforcement of the covid-19 curfew.

The abandoned heavy-duty vehicle with Lagos State plate registration number (SMK-715 XX) which had been reportedly stolen from the Lagos Terminal Port, Apapa, weeks ago was found illegally parked, posing danger to motorist plying the major highway in Jubili, Afijio Local Government Area.

Following some preliminary investigations, the Authority has handed over the recovered vehicle to the Western Police Command, Apapa, Lagos State for further investigations, the Administrative Headquarters of the Authority, the Executive Chairman, Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi said.

This recent recovery by OYRTMA brings the total number of recovered stolen heavy-duty vehicles to Six (6) in four months, with over 15 recovered cars and motorcycles in Oyo State.
