Ontario has recorded 1,268 new COVID-19 infections on Monday, bringing the provincial tally to 319,374.
Monday’s case count is lesser than the previous days; 1,747 on Sunday, 1,468 on Saturday and 1,371 on Friday.
According to Today’s provincial report, 366 cases were recorded in Toronto, 220 in Peel Region, 147 in York Region, 71 in Hamilton, 61 in Thunder Bay, 57 in Ottawa and 53 in Durham Region.
The death tally has surged too, 7,162 fatalities as it recorded 9 more today.
