LGI to benefit 500 youths on leadership, nation-building as North East Get Involved Leadership Summit holds tomorrow in Yola

Lead Generation Initiative (LGI), among its numerous laudable programmes aimed at galvanizing young Nigerians to channel their creativity, skills, and energy to nation-building has announced a training.

The organization will on Tuesday 19th October 2021 train 500 young Nigerians on leadership, community organizing, and active citizenship.

The event tagged “North East Zonal Get Involved Leadership Summit” will hold in Yola, Adamawa State, and it is designed to have youth leaders and representatives of the LGI from the six states that make up the North-East geo-political zone of the country as participants.

The Summit is themed Improving Youth Productivity: a panacea for national transformation. After the training, the participants are expected to go back to their various states to organize Get Involved Leadership Training (GILT) for larger participants at the state, local, and ward levels.

Some of the dignitaries expected to grace the event are governors from the six states in the North-East geopolitical zone namely Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe.

It could be recalled that Lead Generation Initiative, a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization, which was officially unveiled in Abuja on 21st January 2021, has successfully held six different Get Involved Leadership Training (GILTs) in six states namely Oyo, Osun, Bauchi, Gombe, Niger, and Kwara respectively.

The Lead Generation Initiative’s Get Involved Leadership Summit (GILS) is designed to hold in all the six geo-political zones of the country, one after the other.
