LaLiga plan to take legal action against the pitch invader who interrupted Barcelona’s 4-0 win away at Mallorca on Saturday evening.
With LaLiga Santander back behind closed doors, it came as a surprise when the unexpected supporter made his way onto the pitch during the second half at Son Moix, wearing an Argentina shirt.
Given the extreme precautions in place now due to COVID-19, though, the matter isn’t being taken lightly.
LaLiga say that the individual’s behaviour amounts to a criminal act, particularly as he harmed people’s health and damaged the integrity of the competition.
“I had it planned since before the coronavirus,” the invader himself told COPE’s El Partidazo.
“My plan was to take a photo with [Lionel] Messi. My dream is to meet him and take a photo with him.
“But I saw Jordi Alba first so I took the photo with him, then I went to Messi.
“Because of the virus, he didn’t want to take the photo.
“Then the police made me delete everything, the plan failed because of my nerves.”
