It was a disorganized plenary as a new Deputy Speaker emerged at the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
Following the impeachment of the former Deputy Speaker, Hon. Mukhtar Isa Hazo, Hon. Isaac Auta representing Kauru Constituency was immediately sworn.
The new Deputy Speaker emerged shortly after 24 members of the Assembly passed impeached former Deputy Speaker, Hon. Mukhtar Isa Hazo after passing a vote of no confidence on him.
He was immediately sworn in by the Clerk of the Assembly, who administered oaths of office and allegiance on him.
Moments following the swearing in, member representing Makera Constituency, Hon. Liman Dahiru broke into the Assembly floor and seized the maze.
However ,he was grabbed by the Sergeant at Arm before he could exit the chamber ,while other members quickly rushed in to retrieve the maze from him.
The plenary thereby ended in a rowdy session as the aggrieved member, Dahiru Liman in torn cloths displayed his anger over the impeachment of Hazo , having been dragged out of the chamber.
