Germany, France, Italy and Spain stop the use of AstraZeneca jab

Germany, France, Italy and Spain have stopped the use of Oxford’s AstraZeneca jabs after various reports of blood clot in people who have been vaccinated in Europe.

The sudden suspension on Monday was after some countries, mostly in the Europe stopped the distribution last week.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has supported the use of the jab and stated no connection has been found between the blood clot and the vaccine.

The UN health agency is currently looking into the reports related to the vaccine and encouraged countries not to halt inoculation.
