A 29-year-old lady has been confirmed positive for the coronavirus pandemic in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area, Delta State.

The update was confirmed by the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu via his verified Whatsapp page.

Though he did not confirm that the new case’s trade as a fruit seller, however, a reliable source revealed that the new case was trading on fruits in Agbor.

Following this, Aniagwu did confirm that the new case was recorded in Ika South, bringing the total number of cases in the State to 23.

He explained that the number of active cases in the State was now 13, discharged six, with four fatalities

Recall that the State recorded one death on Thursday morning, which took the number of deaths in the state to four.
